Red and Black Invitations

Check up the upper right hand corner of this collage created by Heather Parker for the Bradley/Holmes wedding from earlier this year...it's the red and black invite with wax seal we did for them. Thanks for including us, Heather!

Also featured are flowers by Wishing Well Florists, make-up by Briette Madrid, hair by Theodora Bourikas, and the Tower Club.

Bright Lights, City Wedding

Check out the great photos by Edyta Szyszlo Photography from Kristen and Gene's wedding. You'll see a sneak peak of our "Chicago Theater" invitations- a visual focal point from the Wit Hotel where the wedding was. Love it when it all comes together!

It was nice to have an excuse to go downtown so we could take some pictures to use as inspiration for the invitation design.

One hot wedding!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley and Jasonn last spring. We had a great time designing the stationery for their Chicago-inspired, vintage-chic wedding!

Step #1, Save the Dates!
When we first met Ashley showed me her antique engagement ring (which was GORgeous, by the way) and said she wanted the Save the Date to have the same antique and romantic feel. Check!
We came up with the skyline graphic using the illustration art of Ben Kutcher (an artist that was known for his work illustrating classic children's books in the early half of last century) as the base graphic.

Step #2, Invitations!

We had a great time designing their pocket style invitation and in the end came up with a pretty swanky artichoke design (yes, that's an artichoke flower! I didn't know they looked so pretty in "full bloom"!). We added a cool red wax seal to finish it off with some vintage love.

Step #3, Get Married!

Bella Pictures did a great job with the photography! The September day turned out beautiful, and in the end... Jasonn and Ashley lived happily ever after.
